Description

"For years the R.8 family of attack helicopters have been the mainstay of the Republic of Callentine's military fire support network; however, while combat efficiency was high, the lack of speed and power made earlier aircraft impractical for quick-response use in high-risk situations or in hot-and-high operations. The -F model is designed to be faster, more powerful and more responsive to the changing modern battlefield. With a new coaxial rotor layout for increased efficiency in hot-and-high operations, active vibration cancellation, and a new pusher propeller system to allow for speeds of up to 250 knots, the Crocodile is the logical step for the next level of fire support." --Advertisment for the R.8F at the 2014 Cloudsdale International Air Show

I'm sure some of my earlier watchers have been waiting on me to post stuff like this more.
(Hey fighter-jet, how's this for a change?)

Here's a little take on another one of my older works from my contrail09 account. One of my more thought-out designs was an attack helicopter for my little head-world military based on the then-new Sikorsky X2 technology demonstrator.

I used Copic's Multiliner and Sketch markers for this piece; God bless Copics indeed.

Wow-- a KA-50 and an AH-64 had a secret love child. That is nice work!
